RockaDock 2025 - Geneva, AL

What is RockaDock?
A few hundred like minded campers/paddlers spending up to 7 days camped at a central campground to act as a hub to several epic paddling destinations that will make for great day trips. Plus lots of fun stuff around camp to do. Adventure awaits YOU!!!

Where is RockaRock?
We will be gathering at the Robert Fowler Park in Geneva, Alabama.

When can I show up?
September 29: RockaDock begins on Monday and ends on Sunday.

What is the cost?
RockaDock Pass: FREE
Car Camping:
RV Sites: $245 for entire event Monday – Sunday. Each individual will also need to register for their own free RockaDock Pass.

How do I register?
Attendees can register here: https://tripsmith.live/rockadock/

What is included with my Registration?
1) Primitive camping access on the RockaDock grounds
2) Free RockaDock Sticker
3) Other surprises….

Will there be activities around camp?
You betcha!!! We are also working on other extras to make the event more exciting and enjoyable for you!

What kind of amenities are at the campground?
RockaDock is happy to be returning to Geneva, Alabama! Something to be very excited about is the shower trailer that we will have on site as we did in 2021. There are also pavilions, water spigots and electrical outlets throughout the campground.

How do the paddling trips work?
You can paddle as much as you want or as little as you want, no need to register or pay anything extra for your general paddling. Paddling maps can be found on the Facebook page. These will have information on them like directions, a map of the paddling location, points of interest, estimated duration of the paddle and launch locations. https://tripsmith.live/paddling-options/

Does RockaDock provide shuttles for paddling?
To be determined for 2025, but we hope to have some.

Where will I be camping? Do I reserve a spot?
RockaDock has an area of about 35 acres to spread out. All Primitive campers have free range to camp where they want within the area except for a few areas. RV spots are reserved in advance. Car camping spots will be in designated areas and these passes need to be purchased in advance.

Are there enough trees for hammocks?
There are quite a few trees for hammocks! But a spot isn’t always guaranteed so, I suggest bringing a stand or making a set of DIY Turtle Dog Stands. Car camping areas are limited to no trees.

Will food be provided?
Not this year, but we do have a potluck night. Also, there are several good places to eat nearby in town, within a few minutes.
Please bring your own dinnerware as it will not be provided. This keeps waste down and helps not overflow the trash cans.

Can I park my vehicle at my campsite?
Parking is not allowed in the primitive camping area that is included with your individual pass. Parking at your campsite is allowed at the RV sites and Car Camping sites.

Can I exit/enter the park after hours?
Yes, the park will not be locked after hours.

What about Cancelations?
Cancellations/refunds will be available up until September 3. Any cancellations after that point will not be refunded. Sorry for any issues this may cause.
